I would not recommend going short! Its taking a dip before the real move up (IMHO) ... 10K here we come....

Well I'm one of the "few bulls" (again :eek: ) - long from 9970 (but keeping a tight s/l at 9955) ...

TS - Agreed, will short if/when 9900 is broken, but will keep tight s/l, probably look to take profit at 9850... I'm still bullish and think its only a matter of time before 10K is broken....but maybe not a soon as I expected :o Are you still short from 10k yesterday or did you close that trade?

Q - I have recently suffered the same fate... A lot of success in trading is about confidence (IMO) - once that is lost it makes loosing even easier :confused: I managed to get my confidence back & start winning by taking a break - but mine wasn't in the Cook Islands - unfortunately! Sorry...

dont like the look of the bounce off 9950 resistance - decided to take profit at 9940 & await solid break of 9950/60 or 9910/00

Moving my s/l up to b/e as it's "a bit volatile" today - will add to longs at 9960 if seen...

Mom - it did, up to about a second ago ;) Are you long, short or flat now? For the record I'm long from 9920 with s/l under 9900...

CM, FWIW I think 9900 will hard to breach... And when I said I will wait for 9955 before going long, what I meant was I will try a small long here with stops under 9900 :cheesy:

Thats the last of my longs from 9885 closed @ 9913... (my hindsight system indicates I should have closed yesterday :lol:) I'm still bullish and expect 10k to be breached sometime soon but will wait for 9955 to be crossed before going long again today - and 9830 before shorting.

With everyone & their dog going short yesterday - what are the chances of a squeeze today?

TS - I agree about profit being easily eroded... Luckily I took some profit yesterday @9945 :D Unfortunately I had a limit order in today @ 9995 - which wasn't filled by a couple of pips! :( Still all is not lost (until 9900 breaks that is!) SFX
