Mr Spread Betting is back, be careful everyone

I was referring to the fact that he keeps coming back time and time again. Reinventing himself in another guise. He really can't help himself. I mean how many times is this now ? It's quite incredible the amount of reincarnations he's overseen.

Why did the DOW rally yesterday in the last hour?

Remember the market can remain irrational far longer than you can remain solvent.

The more I think about it (which isn't much) the more I believe the 'hacked' tweets were just part of the process to discredit that account, particularly as he sent an email from his other account denouncing said account only a few hours earlier. Pathetic really.

Haha looks like they've been hacked....or is it to give the appearance of being hacked to discredit following on from the above email. *grabs some popcorn

    Do we need indicators?

Lol, yeah you could say that. I have to look back and laugh now. I didn't add mobile phones as they fall into the "consumable item" category :D In my first post on this thread I said you have to study your market(s) of choice to the point you can almost 'feel' what they're about to do. I...

    Do we need indicators?

10k and them some. Like I've said, I've had everything on my chart and I mean literally everything. I've blown 4 accounts. I've put my fist through 3 screens and 2 laptops have exited windows. It's consumed my life and affected it very negatively. I took some time away and made a decision to...

    Do we need indicators?

You probably have, you just don't realise it. Regardless, if it works as is, why change? I expect to NOT lose anymore than 2% of my account. The rest takes care of itself. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. Does it really matter though? You've got no control over it. Look at it this way, are...

    Do we need indicators?

A quick follow up to the Pound chart. Price rallied off what was the low of the day, but look at the length of the rally, it's not consistent with the rest of the market. Once again price approaches the previous area of reaction and goes sideways. The sideways action is telling us the clues...

    Do we need indicators?

Ok, I had a feeling it would end up with charts. Not my favourite instrument but here's the Pound futures from this morning. 3 opportunities: A. Market has rallied from the overnight support and made a new intraday high. Fails to follow through. A look back at that area shows that market...

    Do we need indicators?

Price is price, that is the market. It's neither true or false, that's its value. Nothing more nothing less. What is key and what so many fail to understand, is that those that understand price, know how it moves and who is stuck and where there stops are likely to be. The majority of traders...

    Do we need indicators?

In my opinion there isn't a right or a wrong way. Thats too rigid, the market isn't rigid, it evolving, tick by tick. There are only wrong strategies which stem from a lack of understanding of said market. And as regards to spot FX which I believe you're referring to. I've seen some impressive...

So certain price movements setup the indicator.... Read price and you're way ahead of any indicator.

    Do we need indicators?

+1 Mobius. I've battled (and still do) with trading demons. I trade on impulse through the 'need' to trade more frequently than I like. What turned things around was keeping a diary. I know it's another cliched approach sold by many but it works. When you start to look at what you did, when...
