Help! ... am not sure what the consequences of this are. But I am currently trading just below the 25K balance daytrading limit, and have so far been adhering to the below 25K rules like a good boy and ensuring that my total trading value per day does not exceed my overnight buying power...

ok ...perhaps I should have gone into more detail. What seems to have happened (so I may be wrong!) ....is that the number of shares I shorted yesterday on Margin for a particular stock which was to the value of around 14,000 dollars has been subtracted from my total cash I have in the account...

thanks for that ..will look into doing it that way ..if anyone knows of any seperate insurance companies specialising in computer insurance and has any recommendations that would be good to. Its an Advent 7027 ....lurrrvely! Sktrad.

Hi All, Can anyone recommend a good reliable computer insurance company ..just bought a lovely new laptop which I'd like to cover all risks for a year, (I declined the shops rip off cover which would only do 3 years!!) Cheers. Sktrad.
