hello all, sorry to seem so dim, but what would be the difference between a) opening a position with lot size 0.1 on an acaount with 10:1 leverage and b) opening a position of lot size 0.01 on an account with leverage of 100:1 ??? I am stuck with an classic account, so min lot size 0.1, but...

Re: GBP/USD Breakout -not a winner every day chaps and chapesses, I too have not enjoyed these recent false breakouts. So I have added a 4 pip buffer above or below high/low overnight extremities and then asked for the remaining 16 pips. Surely 20 pips at .1 lot size or 10 pips at .2 lot size...

i was looking for breakout and it certainly took its time. i estimate the low at the end of the year of 1.4256 and high of 1.4483 within this pattern to be about 227 pips, so adding this onto the breakout point gives a long projection of 1.471, so i reckon i'll put a TP in at 1.47 as a long term...

Don't know about you guys but that spike around 06:15 - 06:30 had to turn around at some point. sold at 1.62691 and took 12pips. London Forex Open.... Hmmmm
