    questions to fibonacci traders

I have read several books about fibonacci trading such as Dynamic trader, trading with dinapoli levels etc. But it seems they all have one issue unclear: HOW TO OBJECTIVELY DETERMINE THE BEGINNING AND ENDING OF THE SWING USED LATER TO CALCULATE THE RETRACEMENT LEVEL. I say objectively...

    about opening range breakout

I got it clear. Thanks, everyone. Another question, what does the "opening range" mean in Toby Crabel's work. Many people just assume it as the "opening price". is that right?

    about opening range breakout

but the open price is a primary indicator, it reflects the market's sentiment after reflecting all the available infomation, as Steve Nison also stated. So it is also my suspicion that the Candle Stick techniques may not work well in around-clock tradable markets such as forex, at least daily.

It is absolutely the case that no pattern can "guarantee" a specific future price move. It has...

    the basic assumption of TA

To SOCRATES: it is very interesting to read your reply. Could you suggest me some reading to prevent me from being one of the nonsense group? I have been looking for such book.Thank you.:)

    the basic assumption of TA

Thank you for your replies. Rhody, you said TA is to explore the repetitive human behaviour, I agree. But how TA can deal with the future information which is separate from human behaviour. (for example, "you can never anticipate the future infomation whatever analysis you use. TA can perform...

    the basic assumption of TA

Many technical analysts believe that the chart tells us everything including the fudenmentals. I agree with it insofar as charts(indicators) may reflect the information in the PAST. However, charts just cannot reflect the information in the FUTURE. In other words, good pattern has nothing to...

    about opening range breakout

"opening range breakout" is based on the notion that the early time in the session tells much to us about the sentiment of the market. However many futures almost do not have the "opening range". They are tradable almost all around the clock. In such cases how the "opening range breakout" can...
