2115-2120 broken now on Euro so would expect that to become support. Would have expected 2200 to follow fairly quickly but 2150 is holding it up, combined with round-number resistance on cable at 8300. Fib support 50% on 60 min is spot on 2150. Upward channel looks to be forming - 2115-21120...

Well, we got the rejection of 2100 and the subsequent run down, but it hasn't happened very quickly. 2040 is proving to be a bit of a magnet for prices. Nothing's really changed imo - breaking of 2115 convincingly means medium-term upward movement and breaking 1950 to the downside could well...

Evening all Been a day or three since anyone posted on here, so I thought I'd give my uneducated opinion on the Euro. This is by no means an unhedged call, but I'll just throw out some ideas and see if anyone wants to respond. Seems to me the upward channel that peaked at 2350 has broken, and...

Euro long 2100, short-term channel broke combined with MA cross, worth a punt. Might move stop to b/e now. Have a good extended weekend everyone - see you all fresh and ready on Monday. Ben

Euro making a revival, as it had to at some point, but still hints towards a bear flag that might suggest more selling off next week. Short-term 2100 looks like a worthy opponent for the bulls. Welcome back FC - I see you're reading Philip Pullman there... read the trilogy myself, very...

Morning all - not sure what the BoE is gonna give us (0.25 rise imo) but bear flag looks to be forming on the Euro for another tumble down. We'll see what the news gives us!

Nice graph NB - I was in the chat room so can testify to you mentioning it on the Euro (sell at 2315 for safe entry I do believe - very handy). I missed that opportunity and waited to see if the market was prepared to get back to that point so I could short it, but I missed out for 5 or 6...

Thanks Buk, great information and much appreciated. It seems a few things have happened at once to stagnate the market whilst it decides on its next move. Make more sense now, so thanks Buk. Ben

Slow indeed, across the board. I've only been studying Forex for a few weeks but the ranges have generally been good with many trending days to take advantage of. However, much of June has seen a tightening of the ranges and more whipsaw action. I was wondering if a more experienced FX trader...

Morning all, Euro finally broken 2300 at the third attempt. Chart patterns would suggest a continuing further move upwards, especially on the 30 min which shows slow but continual bullishness. The only problem is that it's slow going, and no one likes a stagnated market. Would expect 2300 to...

Morning all, Been away from trading for a bit, then decided to re-enter the fray yesterday. A loss of 32 pips later and I'm wishing I hadn't! Been a bit of a tough start to the month for me on Euro, with a few consecutive losses on paper before my real loss yesterday. The market's been slow...

I'm probably asking a really stupid question, but could anyone tell me how to bring up the Fib numbers on the dailyfx charts (i.e. the ones FC uses!) - can't work it for the life of me. I'm sure it's simple, but so am I... Many thanks in advance, Ben

Glorious couple of days sunshine across most of the UK, yep - was too good yesterday not to have down a few choice continental lagers. I missed the early morning because of it! Presume a few of the regulars are taking a well-deserved day off. 7740 breached on cable - next target 7800...

Morning Mal, everyone - Mal, I agree in that 7740 or so will be hit again, and will be looking as high as 7790-7800 to possibly hold back the buying, that being the last major high on 30/60 min chart, plus also 7800 round number resistance. 7800 resisted very strongly last time, so look for...
