Anybody using the vector language R to program their strategies for automation ? Would be interested in exchanging ideas.

Just another word of advice before you start speaking with programmers. You yourself must know what functionality you require. What indicators, strategy testing, reporting and writing strategies etc. It can be an expensive process otherwise. Good Luck.

Yes u are right. The platform idea works well with my level of knowledge. It will allow me to create my own functions etc, without the need for a programmer, just some basic understanding in a simple language.
