ATR is great, because it incorporates volatility and trend (with indicator like my ATR Stops - see above or Sniper Stop which is variation for ATR stops). In combination with moving averages (or HMA as in our case) it can represent a great trend following system... Have a good weekend!

Hi Greenfield, how your signals compare to Gary's? Similar? Same? Can you post your results for February to compare? I agree no two persons can trade this (and any other for that matter) system manually the same. Do you follow his rules to the point? 50pips reentry, 10pips beyond sniper stop...

Hi Kris, great to see you are doing that well. Eliminating some false signals with MACD5 35 seems quite good, although Oct 2008 was as you said really horrible (sideways) and even this additional signal would not help really much. Anyhow, you mentioned you have a fully automated system (EA)...

Having fixed SL with this strategy will not work out. Use sniper stop or last lowest low / highest high if sniper stop is not "valid" at the time of entering trade. Trade as per original rules. Follow the rules. Your MM is good! J.
