    News Trading - which broker?

I tried both FX Primus ECN and Tickmill (when they were called Armada) and both had big slippage. I have not tried Firewood.

    News Trading - which broker?

Was there much slippage or spread widening with the brokers you mentioned above?

Hello gle101, my old sparring partner from the days of the Capital Spreads thread :D I can't believe why 2 people need to get upset because you've started a thread about this new broker and asking whether other traders have experience with them. I thought this is what the broker section on T2W...

You are late. Some of us complained about these broker games years ago. You can understand now how we felt when we were subject to these manipulations even though it may have been in a different form at the time.

You can change one thing about your broker...

That the crooks would become honest although I don't hold out any hope.

Absolutely correct. What more can I say? We are not CEO's of spreadbet companies so we both live in the real world :cheesy:

What bull****!!! And you are wrong on all counts with your stupid assumptions. Show me where I have said that I have never traded with CS. You just made this up. I have not lost at spreadbetting, quite to the contrary. I have an account with Capital Spreads although not active for some time. And...

You should never use the charts provided by a spreadbet company. They are too slow. You can open an account with another broker just to use their charts.

I've never thought about it this way but it is a great analogy. Kudos for coming up with the bluffing part of it, too right:cheesy: If you feel you have a good case, always let the FOS decide for as long as it takes. You have nothing to lose. Bluffers eventually get caught at their own game.

You are both right, except it doesn't work that way in the wild west. The FOS is inundated with complaints regarding SB companies and many of these complaints end up being settled by the SB company having to pay the client. On top of that the SB company needs to pay the FOS also. Why they let it...

You should follow it up with the FOS because they normally send an email acknowledgement. Also I can tell you it will take something like over a year to get any sort of settlement. And if the company you have complained against disputes your case, it could take like close to 2 years. Some...

No offence intended, from your vantage point this may well be what you think. But the reality is somewhat different because the number of complaints made to the FOS regarding all spreadbetting outfits has skyrocketed in recent years. London Capital Group which includes Capital Spreads is no...

I don't often read brokers terms and conditions but I have never come across such rubbish. Scalping will be considered a "manifest error"??? What nonsense. You'd be mad to keep trading with an outfit with anything like that in their terms and conditions.

They allow it if you end up in net loss but not if you make a profit.

    Finspreads...

How dare they? They must be trading on latent prices, scalping or exploiting your system :cheesy: If the problem persists from a bookie point of view, it won't be long before you switch them buggers on 'refer to dealer'
