Lost some money in IRAs during 2001 crash and vowed never to trust a fund "manager" to manage my money ever again. Studied workings of the market for next year or so and then studied whatever I could find on candlestick patterns and market psychology as a hobby.
During last 6 months I have been coding trading strategies into my own platform, which is built on an apache web server in php with java so that I can get data into the program, and will continue to do this until I am done trading... When that will be I do not know, but I'm enjoying every minute in front of my PC.
