    Platform comparison

Hi, I trade with a system where I do 1 trade per 24 hours, and it runs all 24 hours. My system is profitable, but not hugely, so the associated costs are important. Currenty, approx half my daily profit is taken by the costs. I trade DJ30, and need to find a platform that has a low spread (24...

Copy Trading: Ready to be copied

Finally my years of developing Technical Analysis models have come up with a model that is both profitable, low risk, and most of all stable, so I'd be comfortable having people copying me. So I'm ready for Copy Trading. But where and how? E-Toro has the Popular Investor Program (PIP), and...

What is the most important thing a beginer should learn ??

Stick to your strategy for at least 3 months and record the results. Not just the development of your $, but the points it earns (or not). After each week, spend an hour analyzing what went well and what didn't. Believe me, you will learn a lot...

    The weather!

Hi, I don't know if anybody here has dived into this, but there's a often described correlation between sunshine and a positive sentiment on e.g. Wall Street. I think it would be fun to examine if that correlation is good enough to utilize. Does anybody know where to get historic daily day for...

How long did it take for you to become profitable ?

It surprised me how much markets change. My methods are quite stable, but not as stable as I thought. I didn't make money in July-Nov, I actually lost an infinitissemal amount. From December on I'm back to normal... But a bit scary to not make anything for 5 mths, that was a surprise. The good...

What is the most important thing a beginer should learn ??

    1. Never invest more than you can afford to lose 2. Learn money management, e.g. always have Stop Loss and never move it. Thereby avoid the very bad days (I never lose more in a day than I know in the morning that I'll risk) 3. Close your losers, let your winners run...

How long did it take for you to become profitable ?

Wow you guys are fast. It took me 3½ years. Had 1½ year of losses, little less than a year very close to B/E, then small profits, and finally the last year profits... Had doubts I would make it many times during that process, quite a relief to get throught to the other side :)

    Copy Trading?

Now that I'm able to make a profit pretty consistently (+49% YTD), if not every day, close to every week, I've been asked if I'm interested in copy trading. I've never heard of that before. It sounds too good to be true? I make more money trading like I usually do, and the ones paying to copy...

    Finally, in profit territory...

Hi again. Book sales slow so far, but have gone past breakeven ;). But I just wanted to share this review from amazon.de, and no, it's not my mother... :) "Finally a book that delivers on the read-this-and-make-money-copying-it promise. It's so data based and well explained. If you know your...

    Finally, in profit territory...

In my book I mention I use ETX for Dow30 with a nce 1 point spread. However since Corona ETX has really upped the spread, first to 12 points in the panic days, but still now when the ATR(4) is as before Corona, they charge 3 points. So I'm considering changing. Does anyone know of a major broker...

    Finally, in profit territory...

In my book I write that you can have copies of my spreadsheets. Since I've received much help on this forum through this development, I'll send the two sheets free to anyone here on the forum. Write me on [email protected] if you're interested, and mention your T2W user name, and I'll return your...

    Finally, in profit territory...

Trader333, yes but it's about 250+ different models in up to 15 version. So some days I made 10+ versions of the same model. And yes, I enjoy large Excel sheets :-) Jeffre5, it's my 3rd book, but it's my first book on trading.
