    Cashmaster PIE

Hi Porkpie I have just been reading the PIE thread and debating whether to contribute to it This article is about hedging an iron condor; basically you add a calendar spread to an iron condor; ie you buy a put 4 months out and sell current months puts against it. You take credit on the current...

    Some of my trades, forecasts

Hi saw your AUD trade and wondered how you managed it - so basically if the trade does not perform as anticipated you just hedge until it starts to move in the right direction again - and then remove hedge - not something I have often done, as I usually close out my trade if it is going wrong -...

    Some of my trades, forecasts

reading your blog about RSI - this is true - but also true of stoch - in a strong trend, it will stay OB/OS for a long time and a new twist in the ss is usually a sign to reenter the trade - but yes RSI reading over 70 - especially on a shorter term rsi such as 5 is usually a good sign to add or...

    Some of my trades, forecasts

Hi Paul well eur and chf are closely inversely correlated - so are unlikely to move far unless something upsets that - intererstingly in recent days the correlation has broken down - apparently due to heavy moves from euro funds into swiss francs and SNF intervention. eur gbp tends to move...

    Goldmine!

Hi Newbies thanks for replying to my questions. I can see that each new swing will generate its own reaction; I can see that PF generate trend lines and targets - but not sure how well they cope with normal horizontal SR, which in my experience is usually at least as important as trend lines...

Hi 4Xpipcounter Just been reading through this thread adn some of the posts on your blog - including stuff about ichimoku - it is fascinating to see how you apply this with your own proprietary SR levels - and your forecast on 17 pairs - well I'm impressed You said somewhere that you worked on...

    Goldmine!

Hi there Newbies Waded through this thread about A Pitchfork (on a real slow day - although made some pips on cable) - never really looked at it before From your posts, rules for drawing pitchforks are that you identify 3 alternating pivots and draw PF, the next PF uses the pivots 2 and 3 of the...

Discussion: FX Correlation between EURGBP, EURO & CABLE.

Hi Phil read your post - thanks for trying to explain it As I understand it, you are using the SR on EURGBP and PA on GU and EU to time your trades Not sure I really understand exactly how you do it - I guess I need to print it off and step through it

    Deep INsight

Does anybody have any recent experience of this package, which has a link on the software section, but which does not have any recent reviews - trawling through the posts showed some in 2003 The new versions seem have to some good features. I was going to download a trial version, but wondered...
