Thanks gents (sexist assumption I know).... realise there will be days/weeks/months of reading to do. I've traded a few ftse100/250 over the years and realise if i spend my hours researching this, my retirement could well come earlier than many. Plenty of reading and Youtubing to be starting...

Hope this makes sense, as I've had a bit of a lay off from spread betting for a year or more. How or why does the environment you trade in effect you? I can trade easily (and more successfully) when I'm doing it from work, on my laptop, grabbing a few minutes here and there in between work...

I’ve been offered 2 x 24” monitors and a 31.5” monitor but can’t think how best to arranged them? And what time frames to use on each? I usually trade 15 min charts Any ideas?

I use LCG for spread betting but would like to use it across 2, or maybe 3 screens. I use 15m, 1 hour and 4 hour so ideally would like one of each tf chart on each screen Does anyone know if this is do-able with LCG please?

not spread betting, i just about broke even. Buying and selling shares I done pretty well, 20% return on what i was using to trade.

Guys Just migrated over to LCG too, and struggling a bit. I cant seem to see where to place a position so it expires in 3 or 6 months time? (without the rolling daily fees) Any ideas?

Thanks again ffsear, have just had my account transferred over to LCG (from Capital Spreads) (I use IG too) and cant see the 'Dec-16' price on my LCG account, only on IGIndex
