To spread or not to spread?

Lion63 Absolutely. No one likes getting stopped but at least with futuresbetting you are stopped only if the price trades on the underlying market and what's more there is accountability there because you can check on the exchange websites the next day to see if that price did trade. With...

To spread or not to spread?

Lion63 No problem. Don't you sleep! Take your point though about closing although to be fair i know you can put stops in with futuresbetting which are left at the exchange when they're shut.

To spread or not to spread?

Lion63 Looking at the last few entries to this thread i reckon you should read about futuresbetting.com on www.financial-spread-betting.com They show the actual futures market and make their spread around the underlying bid/offer, so basically direct access trading but tax free because its SB...

    Tightest bid/ask spread ?

Yeah that's how it works, but what's great about it is that for the first time SB's get a level playingfield (i.e the underlying market) to base their bets on and execution speeds the same as direct access.

    Spread betting tax situation

vp your example is tax evasion and illegal! spread betting is free from all UK taxes including stamp and CGT, whether you are a full time trader or not. (Graham v Green) having said that ofcourse the Gov't could decide in the future to include spread betting under CGT. i certainly think they...

    Spread betting tax situation

virtual prophet anyone can make voluntary tax contributions over and above what they owe. with respect it seems to me that this is what you are doing in declaring spread betting gains, because the spread itself contains a tax component. spread betting companies pay 3% gross profits tax on...

    Arcade fees

twalker the information came from GH Financials service agent in Gibraltar, Kayseri Ltd, and the rates apply for that office only. GH have a website though, www.ghf.co.uk, maybe that would help. rog1111 i thought in the same thread that someone mentioned going for an interview in...

    Arcade fees
