    Cawkwell's Evil Day

How does it enable you to increase your gearing? For some reason this is going over my head.

    Options Software Requirements

Hi Sam, Metastock has a built in options package called Optionscope which will draw pay-off diagrams, calculate greeks etc. Pretty basic. The Peter Hoadley software Roger mentions is far superior and free so I would go down that route. Top end would be OptionVue software but with a top end...

    Trading Level 2 via CFD's

I place all my trades via the level 2 screen. Although I'm no expert, when I combine TA with level 2 I seem to pick more favourable entries. I rarely day trade so level 2 is just another tool in my arsenal. Good luck.

    Looking for broker

Thank you for your responses. Skimbleshanks Looking at the IB site it states 50% margin available so I think I will go down this route. Thanks. CityTrader When I mentioned finance I was refering to the interest charged on the amount borrowed when using margin, as in that offered by IB...

    Looking for broker

Hi, What would be the best broker to use for swing & position trading? Following are a couple of points to consider: 1) Must provide margin at reasonable financing rates. 2) Cover the main exchanges. 3) Cover all companies in a exchange. (This rules out CFD providers as they only allow you...

    Pristine seminars

Lazybones & Uni Thank you for taking the time to alert us to these Pristine guys. We have our own charlatans this side of the pond, mentioned regularly on this site, so I would have thought people would have been more appreciative of your warnings. I don't doubt for one second that these...

    Trading Psychology Books That Work

"Trading in the Zone" by Douglas is a great read. Contrary to what others have said I found all of it especially the last sections very clear. If you compare it to his first book, 'The Disciplined Trader', which I found slightly abstract, this one has been very clearly thought out. To me the...

Who else took up IG on P900 phone offer?

Overall, I love the phone! I have done several trades without any problems. Speed is much the same as IG's basic interface. The only slight drawback I feel is the battery power. If you use it's internet or other multimedia facililties the battery burns quite quickly, 1.5 days in my case. Not a...
