Babypips and Donna Forex for me. The FPA forum is hard to navigate and there are too many redundant threads.

There actually aren't any sites like FPA. It's probably a nice hole in the market :) The next best option would be to check forums like this one. Donna Forex is also good to find others that are using automated systems like EA's or signals.

Take time to consider each of your entries, and why you made the decision each time. If it appears that you've been unlucky, then keep going, but reduce the risk until you can see the profits returning. The alternative is that you find a flaw in you system and need to adjust it accordingly.

A good friend of mine that has been trading for over 10 years full time ONLY trades the news. He believes that it is the most accurate way to trade. He doesn't hold positions long term, the trades are basic scalps, but he absolutely kills it.

I love betfair. Does anyone use them to trade (gamble) for a living? I've often thought about it, betting against emotional punters seems like a better idea than trading against the big banks.

It's little known, but retail traders actually get better spreads than the banks. I learned this off one of my good friends that runs a brokerage (SynergyFX). If you want to transact$100,000,000USD for example, the spread is around 10-15 pips.
