Lex van Dam
Lex van Dam started his career at Goldman Sachs in London and New York and after ten years made the move to the world of hedgefunds. He is currently a partner in an equities hedgefund. Lex created, and appeared in, the BBC Television series Million Dollar Traders. The series was based on the premise that he could teach a group of people who had never traded before how to trade in a very short time period. He put his money where his mouth was and gave them $1 million to trade for a period of eight weeks. The result was amazing: the group as a whole did better than the professionals over that period! Lex has recently launched the ‘Lex van Dam Trading Academy’ where he teaches both novices and experts how to trade responsibly and for the long term. Why pay large fees to pension fund managers when you can do better yourself?
