I wanted to work in the stock market from when I was at school - struggled to get into a bank so eventually took a position as a broker. It was more customer relationship but it gave me an insight into trading. I traded for myself mainly focusing on the FTSE 100, using KTS market terminal quotes of all the listed companies to give me an indication to direction. I was only trading once a day but found it very profitable.

I left the job and moved to Cyprus to be with my family and have been learning about tech analysis and systematic systems since.

I would like to develop a completely automated system that works everything out and takes short term trades. I think this would be the best system to fit me - I enjoy designing systems (although dont have a lot of experience yet). I find the emotional side hard sometimes but am managing to over come it.
