I don't see any reason why to use these "platforms" instead of IG/Nadex..at least IG is somehow regulated and can't just take your money and run.

I think they do publish historic closing prices and from where they take them I don't know. But I suppose it's Bloomberg or something like that...

This is the problem only for short-term traders. I can't see how they can possibly stop me from trading longer time frames (daily bets, holding to maturity)...on the other hand I dont like the way they do their business. If they are not able to manage 5 mins bets they shouldn't be providing it...

You can use NADEX through PFG best, they accept clients based in Europe. And I don't like PYX from what I've seen. GFT and IG have so much more markets to choose from...

It's not "for a while". Its for 2 months and you can always deactivate your account when you know you are not going to trade for longer period so this is not really a reason why not to touch them. I found their spreads to be a bigger problem.

I wonder if Nadex is any better. They are regulated by CFTC so who knows ?!

I've spoken to GFT representative. They'll be offering binaries demo platform pretty soon. Btw. its good to finally see some competition to IG Index.

I think it's a good thing that they separated financial binaries from sport and casino betting. It feels weird when somebody is serious about trading financials to see that he/she can also bet spare money on federer lets say :D

I think it also depends on your trading style. When you are opening/closing trades very often your trading style is more likely to be influenced with requotes, spreads widening and so...also its important not to be greedy.. just my $0,02
