How are the fills processed ? real-time into the excel sheet or does the excel read from a database ?

I am searching for Execl/Spreadsheet Software plug-ins that provides Stocks/Options/Futures trading to North American markets. We have the infra structure to route the orders but need the Front end Excel/Functions and Analytics. All comments welcome. Jas.
