Yes, the PDF is great. I am sorry I did not mention this in my previous post.

    Ideas for increasing trader performance

Hi Tom, thank you for starting this thread. When I look at your EURUSD template and compare it to mine, I don't have half of your levels. MMT talks about only marking levels which can be seen from a mile away. Many of the orange levels are not precisely aligned with any High/Low points and I...

    Trading the Yasser Arafat style

On a recent trade I found the price going sideways for a long time and instead of taking a few pips and moving on, I sat and watched it hit my stop, losing the whole risk unit. it reminded me of an old Russian joke (Arafat was alive then): Teacher: Children, name some great military commanders...

    £80

Sorry, I did not follow this thread for a while. Technically, yes. But I am hardly profitable so it is diffcult to say whether I'm consistently profitable. I've made fewer than 100 trades since February, and the last two months have been good, compensating for some initial drawdown.

£80, I was in your shoes, it seems, just a few short months ago. Besides MMT and Potential Setups, the james16 private forum has been an immeasurable help. It helped me move to the next level, and then to the next level again, and there's more to come. When I felt like I've hit the wall, I...

    How many people...

Further, here's an example. Much of what I know about trading, I owe to the three gentlemen mentioned in my previous post. I have read MMT two times: forwards and backwards. And then I have notes on MMT which I periodically distill in order to apply to my own trading. This method fits me...

    How many people...

In my mind risk management/position sizing/psychology are precisely the basics. Often the newbies want to skip all this ("Yeah, I'll deal with money management when I make the money to manage", etc.) and are looking for a recipe like "get in when a crosses b and get out when a crosses c". This...

    How many people...

I see learning to trade being similar to a university. There are several categories of people there: There are people who diligently study for five years under constant supervision and in an "environment". Many of them come out wearing blinders and do not realizing there are infinite ways to...

    First Weeks of PAIN

Dreaming is for good mood, big smile, inspiration and direction. The thing for more realistic shorter-term tactical targets is called Planning. But without dreaming your eyes quickly lose the sparkle. Dreaming gives you an enormous amount of energy. There's nothing like it. Besides dreaming...

    Best Thread Potential setups

Based on the above, I only traded hourly setups when either London or New York were open. Also, I only traded USD and CAD pairs after London close. trader_dante, which pairs would you consider trading after London close but when NY is still in session?

    Best Thread Potential setups

This gave me some perspective on things (source: Wikipedia): Of the $3.98 trillion daily global turnover, trading in London accounted for around $1.36 trillion, or 34.1% of the total, making London by far the global center for foreign exchange. In second and third places respectively, trading in...
