Well, USD 10k is "a" minimum of IB, but if you meet some requirements (young, or student, or...) you get away with much less: Why not open an account with IB ( Interactive Brokers UK) through one of their IB`s (Introducing Brokers) like Captrader, Meintrade, Lynx .... They all give you 100% IB...

If an option isn`t offered by IB I doubt it is liquid. If an option isn`t liquid I wouldn`t trade it. Regards

Hi timsk, wouldn`t it be helpful -even for some supercapitalised google wonderchild- to mention that IB`s initial minimum requirement of USD 10K is just ONE of many possible minimum amounts. Other possibilities are far less. That should be of interest for anybody considering to use IB for CFD...

If you are US citizen or US resident you are automatically taxed by the IRS. Ands you woun`t be allowed to trade CFDs . If you are subject of IRS and trader you would no of the 60/40 taxation advantage of futures trading. And still using Regards

Hi friends of ignorant google usage, Less stringent margin requirements? Ever heard of "mark to market"? And you don`t trade futures "with only 1k", but 1k per contract - not per account. To keep your powder dry. If your account is 20k and margin requirement is 10 k you have intraday only 10k...
