    Best Thread Potential setups

Hello, In looking at your chart, that is a nice pin bar but I think that you would need to be mindful of the support line you have drawn underneath which would be very close to your entry. Correct me if I am wrong but the setup might not be considered A-one due to this potential pivot...

    Best Thread Potential setups

Hello all, This is my first post in this thread. Thought I would post this chart. The ES has come back to what appears to be an important level at around 935-937 with not the greatest looking pin bar (body seems a bit long for the usual specs) but it has come into the support zone and close to...

When I joined T2W it was a good place to learn.

In keeping with the subject of the thread as stated in the title (and as a newb to this board and trading in general), I have spent the past few weeks sifting through a variety of old threads started by more senior members, dating as far back as 2004, and have found a wealth of valuable and...

    ES tonight

Mr. Gecko, Check my post #322 on page 41 of the thread. The points that are habitually posted are for the CAMs... in having read R_E's thread since the beginning, there are also the regular floor trader pivots and DeMark pivots that can be considered/combined with the CAMs. Regards, Ivor

Hi Paul, Below are the equations for CAM (in case you couldn't locate them). I read on elite trader that there is a site on the internet that started selling CAM signals in the early part of this decade but that they have never officially disclosed the formulae that they use. What is below can...

Hi Paul, To be perfectly honest, I do not know what the reasoning is...Because I am just starting to learn about pivots and the like thanks to Garry's excellent journal, I am following much of his reasoning while I observe and test this type of method, as well as try to see if pivot points...

    ES tonight

Attached are 2 charts (5 min and 15 min) with today's action and KC channel plots. There wasn't much action with respect to any CAMs in the early but the Daily FTP RL line was the point of some massive choppinness pre market open. A wide enough stop would have allowed the trader to play the...

Attached is the 5min ES reg session chart with KC channel (10,1.5) and also BB. I had to do some coding to get the KC indicator working properly in Esignal to your previous specifications but I believe that it matches with your previous charts. As per your strategy, from 12:50 P.M. - 1:15 P.M...

    ES tonight

Last time I checked, 2-3 small winners + 1 big pay-day amounts to a 30%-40% batting average which might be considered conservative but perhaps a realistic goal to have in mind..."greed, for lack of a better word is [NOT] good" (sorry Douglas).

    ES tonight

Attached is today's reg session action on the ES with the CAM pivots. Note from the chart that there was only 1 play today off the CAMs and it was a nice one. Price gapped through all levels at the open but came back to test the daily BS line on 2 5min candles...what ensued was a nice 15 point...

lol...I thought it was 94.7%...but who's counting? however, the good traders shouldn't knock them about too much as they often contribute to the good setups (i've been doing a bit of that lately). ES just busted through the CAM BDS like nobody's business...ugly open in store
