    Online Bookies Cap Winners

I don't really see why this is a 'con' - it's just business. If you were an online bookie would you continue to take bets from a regular winner? I agree with Paul, the size of the markets on Betfair should stop any need for getting others to place your bets. The fact that their books are open...

    CCI

Himalaya That was a good post. Thanks for taking the time to write something interesting and educational. Traders helping traders indeed. All the best Gary

    CCI

Himalaya suggested CCI techniques don't work on trending days they in fact work very well, I was just emphasising a point. As I'm sure you probably realised.

    CCI

CCI works great on trending days. It shows you the trend by it's position relative to it's own zero line. I use CCI and I wish everyday was a trending day. He doesn't use anything else except the CCI to enter a trade. He doesn't use S/R on price at all. In fact he encourages newer traders not...

    CCI

Well, if you are making money trading with just price action then that's great. I can appreciate how that's a very good way to trade ... However if you aren't making money and you are looking for something relatively simple to use, with the backup of 500 traders in a chat room to help you, live...

    CCI

Thirteen Although buyers would do better than sellers when the CCI crosses UP through +100 this isn't a valid CCI signal for either a buy or a sell on it's own. It's like anything else in trading, if you stick with something and learn it inside out then you will probably start to get results...

    CCI

To master the CCI using the methods discussed in Woodie's room takes a lot of time. I'm guessing that would put a lot of people off. There's no way anyone could knock it if they had seen it used properly in my opinion. Gary

    'Big Traders' = Irrelevant ?

MMA If we should only listen to 'small traders' who make '4x their cap' then at that growth rate they will quickly become big traders - correct? At which point we should stop listening to them? If someone is making that sort of return from skillful trading then that is indeed of interest, if...

    'Big Traders' = Irrelevant ?

MMA Whatever works for you good luck with it ... It seems from your posts that you believe that you know everything already so what you hope to gain from using this forum is a bit of a mystery. You're right ... 'SHOULD' was the wrong word for me to use, I have no wish to try and tell people...

    'Big Traders' = Irrelevant ?

I would complain as it means I'd be 75 euros worse off on every single DAX futures trade compared to the 1 point spread trading DAX futures with a broker. You seem to think margin requirements are more relevant than point spreads. In fact the opposite is the case. If you don't have the margin...

    T2W 2003 Christmas Party

I for one won't be attending unless Paul can prove, via his acountant, that he has successfully organised such an event for at least the last 3 years. Sorry couldn't resist :cheesy:

    Vince Stanzione's Master Traders Seminar

Agreed. That's too much money to spend. You can get lot's excellent information for free on the web. Maybe spend some of your money on a few good trading books. That will leave you plenty left to do some live trading for small amounts to see how you get on.

    Nasdaq futs

Welcome Mr Rotten. That infamous thread on Elite Trader where you presented your excellent trading method and at the same time destroyed the '50 posts a day' locals will live long in my memory. All the best to you.

    Nasdaq futs

Agree with Johnny I agree with Johnny. I think volume isn't of much use in day trading. The smaller the time frame you are looking at the less useful it becomes in my opinion, although I'm sure there's plenty of people who disagree. I also like to trade the YM. I guess trading is such an...
