Alright i have tried searching for this and no matter what keywords i use all i get are articles about certain indices or stocks going up or down certain percents, my question however is , what percent and from what? like okay , "the s&p is up .40% right now" ok .40% from yesterdays close...

in my mind i trade every candle i short down candles at their highest point and sell at their lowest point and i buy up candles at their lowest and sell at their highest , on a tick chart again in my mind :) imagine that
