Ed Rombach

Ed Rombach is a senior market analyst for Thomson Financial / IFR Markets and he has over twenty-seven years of experience in exchange traded and over-the-counter fixed income derivatives, foreign exchange, and commodity markets involving brokerage, trading, sales, consulting and training.Prior to IFR, Ed was principal and sole proprietor of, €D-ROM, LLC, specializing in money management consulting and risk management. Ed also worked for several financial institutions including Marine Midland Bank, The Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the Financial Instruments Exchange (FINEX), Prudential Securities and Emcor Risk Management Consulting, and Putnam Investments.Ed has written many articles on risk management and has been published in Futures Magazine, Derivatives Week, Risk Magazine and Financial Derivatives and Risk Management, Dow Jones M@RKETS and a variety of newsletters. In addition he has been a course instructor and seminar leader for the American Institute of Banking, The World Trade Institute, Euromoney Institute of Finance and New York University. Ed holds a BA in Political Science and History from Boston College.
