Can we get loan for trading?

That's a really dumb idea, firstly it isn't a bank - it's just a company that will essentially buy the right to a portion of the equity in your house. Secondly, leverage is already available from plenty of brokers.

Can we get loan for trading?

I don't think you understand what leverage is.

"The blackest day in my career as a trader."

    That's essentially just trading GBPEUR.

Can we get loan for trading?

It's very easy to get a loan to trade and it's very common, brokers and bucket shops facilitate this all the time, this is what trading on margin and utilising leverage is! This is why you'll have say overnight interest charges at a CFD provider, they're essentially lending you the money to...

Does any serious funding opportunities exist today for real traders?

You probably wouldn't because of the latter. There is a meme in poker re: some bad players where they wish they had the bankroll to "move up to where they respect my raises", that somehow they could be good at higher stakes games despite all the evidence to the contrary from their actual play...

    databases of trading strategies

Fair enough, that's a bit different to what I originally replied to though as per the previous post above. Anyway I think we'll perhaps have to agree to disagree over the usefulness of doing anything with some apparently easily available database of trading strategies that already show...

    databases of trading strategies

I did read that thanks, the part I was focusing on is highlighted in bold and I believe to be rather flawed. You can nit pick re: the amount of randomness involved in simply doing as you suggested and grabbing the first one that "sounds rational" (which is rather subjective in itself) but the...

    databases of trading strategies

I think that is probably the most useful reply here, the idea of some database of some strategies just waiting for you to pick up and make money with is pretty dubious. While the first reply to the thread perhaps had good intentions it seems a bit optimistic: "I recommend grab the first one you...

DESPERATELY looking for GOOD Proprietary Trading Firm in London UK

There are plenty of genuine firms out there, I'm just saying that this notion of turning up, handing over a small sum of money and that leading to a trading career is rather unrealistic.

DESPERATELY looking for GOOD Proprietary Trading Firm in London UK

As I mentioned before, I suspect what you're looking for doesn't exist. I certainly wouldn't look to pay a firm for training, especially if you don't think they have anything to offer.

DESPERATELY looking for GOOD Proprietary Trading Firm in London UK

What you're looking at the moment for might not exist, I think you may need to adjust your expectations here. It seems like you're looking for some form of day trading firm/trading arcade that will provide you with capital, a salary and perhaps isn't too picky about who they'll take on (though...

    Quantt’s betting journal

successful betting is rarely about picking winners it is about finding value for example, supposing in a horse race there is a favourite the bookies have priced at say 3/2 and your model predicts the chance that horse wins is 0.5 you and the bookies agree it is the favourite to win but you'd...

    prospreads.com

Out of interest do these guys still internally match some orders or are all orders passed through to the exchange? IIRC they offer a DMA like solution but not necessarily a DMA solution... as per the screen print posted on here some years back where a limit order was shown in the order book on...

Working out Lot sizes for Stock Indices

the short answer to your question is to go and look at the contract specs on the relevant exchange websites (i.e. Eurex and MEFF in this case) What do you mean by "the cost of one lot"? If you're referring to the initial margin requirements this is obviously going to vary for different...
