well that was quite a week. Once it was clear that the indexes really were turning rather than just showing a one-day blip, it's been pretty easy to daytrade the mining stocks, which is in any case where I've ben focusing most of my attention since I took that step back on Jan 14th. The success...

If the UK's long-term sovereign rating gets a downgrade, rates will have to go up before 2011 to support the pound, but apart from that proviso, my best guess is that they'll stay at 0.5% for the whole of 2010, mebbe reaching 1.5% by the end of next year. The downgrade (or not) is going to...
