Personally, I haven't experienced anything like that, but heard lots of stories about them 'stop loss hunters'. Everybody should carefully choose a broker, read reviews, etc. And believe me, if brokers want to get your money, they will! No matter regulated or not

I haven't taken this trading course but it does sound a bit expensive for what it is. There's a free 'school' over on babypips which is quite useful to start with. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, hopefully someone else knows more about this programme. Good luck!

Good idea about the part-time job and helping pay rent, that should definitely help. Perhaps you could try bar work or something and work evenings/nights so you can trade in the day. Good luck!

True, there are a lot of aspects which makes it different for everyone.

Firstly just start by studying and learn what Forex is and how it works. There's a 'school' on babypips which is quite useful for this. Make sure to practice on a demo account first before going live.
