Thanks for the suggestions. I've taken a quick look, and correct me if I'm wrong, but they seem to be non UK stocks. I'm UK based, so was hoping to find an account that covers the LSE / at least FTSE 100 shares. Cheers for your reply though.

Hi All, I was wondering f there are any brokers / trading accounts (either CFD or Spread Bets) out there that have a low minimum, but has a full API available so that I can perform automated trading. I've looked at IB - but unfortunately I don't have 10k to start an account! I've been looking...
