different strategies, some work most the times, some only within certain periods. you can use different technical tools on them. you definitely need to get a feel of the market. the front seems to be holding up. its printing higher lows.

im not in them for a tick!! how do you trade them ? mostly brent but WTI is on my mind too.

Trading spreads by Joe Ross sorta old but very good. Also there is a book called STIR futures. that one is well technical but will give you a good base for your spread trading.

hey Any one know whats the deal with Oil forward curve at the moment? Spreads have gone crazy. Fronts are heading up and backs are still going lower!!! any info would be appreciated. Cyrus

beats me. spreads are pretty low at the moment but we are near expiry in brent crude. gonna wait till things settle down.

hey. welcome to the big boy trading club ;) :P I know a lot of traders who didnt go to uni and still managed to score a good trading career. I dont know how exactly the STA people think about this but im pretty sure a uni degree will get you into the interview but will not guarantee you a place...
