I have been trading very unregularly for more than ten years (I remember the first stock I actually bought on my own was Acclaim in about 1998). I had my share in the dotcom-boom, made 100% on stocks on lost most of it afterwards. I paused for several years and traded from time to time, more for fun than for real. I had big losses in leveraged products (in Germany, Mini-Futures, i.e. exchange-listed papers issued by banks tracking futures, stocks, etc. with a leverage, are very popular). In the last two years, trading became more important to me as I tought about a career in this industry after my studies. In 2009, I shifted to trading futures and am trying all kinds of styles and am hoping to learn as much as possible.
