Do people really place trades without even an emergency stop? What happens if you have a power outage or your broker's system goes down? Surely its better to have something in the market 'just in case'.

There are quite a few people on the forums here doing high frequency trading, and also on ForexFactory. Do a search for one minute timeframe, and scalping. Not sure how much money they'd have though . . .

The problem with most of these so-called seasonal is that there is far too little data in the sample to call it statistically significant. A lot of it doesn't stand up to reason either. I can understand the logic of sell in May and go away, or the old "Voice from the Tomb" ags system, but...
