Hey Firewalker, About that ribbing.... ;-) 250 wasnt even close in the end.... just got up, what the hell has been going on while i was away! Lucky i was flat overnight instead of going long after Dax was down 175! (i was close....)

Geez, FTSE getting flattened....getting near 6320 support, most Euro markets testing day lows. Catracho, wondering how you get Dax support at 6900 cash? Is it because its a round "significant" number? My charts give 6850-60 as the next support level down. Dow futures sinking again as...

Fair enough, maybe i'm a little defensive, but many times i've seen these scenarios unfold where the market stalls and then goes back for a re-test of the lows...... we'll see what happens.

Out at 37, market sort of stalling... might wait until the US opens and see what happens then...

Well there you go! Blink and the Dax is down 100 points..... Shanghai down 9%, Dow down 70 already, FTSE and Dax down almost 100. Will those buyers who have bought all those dips recently jump back in? Has anyone here bought yet?

So the Dow falls 100 points over the last few days and yet the Dax is still reattempting its assault on 7000.... this market wants to go up, the only logical trade is to buy here so why is it so difficult to do so?

Yep, there goes the Dax again, up 40 points already basis cash.... you just cant be short in this market. If the US opens higher we'll definately see 7000 today...... what a market.

Hey Hookshot, How prophetic your words were! ASX at new all time highs, powering through 6k. Was short at 61 last night, covered on the open at 74 which was damn lucky.... geez, even with the Dow down 50 and BHP down on the day, it still ends the day up 1% to a new high! What strength...

I know....i was short at 5997 cash in the ASX and covered at 75. Am still short some BHPs and just gone short again in the ASX at 5961 cash. The only market that didnt move on the US CPI move. We'll see what happens. Alpha
