By the time the FCA investigate, it could be years down the line. It isn't about doing anything blatantly, it's how these brokers bend the rules. The exchange model they utilise is based on LMax's exchange participants placing their limit orders (where no last look applies) and liquidity...

I've noticed the spread will tighten back to what it used to be (very very thin volumes) for a short period and then widen substantially. I have it running on the same screen as my bank feeds, they are stable. Still not convinced.

Guys, One very important thing you need to keep in mind with LMax's spreads. Look at the volume available at the top of book. Their best prices normally have 10 to 50 mini lots; therefore only 1 standard lot to 5 standard lot is available. Not exactly much liquidity there. For the same price on...

I took the snapshot as soon as I logged in, I didn't have time to wait around. I suppose if I waited then it may have been tighter but what I got was decent and better than most people would get :-)

Agreed, if you're serious about trading then use Currenex or Integral (provided both are supplied liquidity via a reliable source)
