metatrader newbie...please help

ive just downloaded and installed metatrader 4.
Im confused.

I just want to test it out, the demo.

Can i analyse UK FTSE company stocks with it?
Or is it only for USA markets and forex and CFDs?

None of the account options are making sense, they are either forex or some other foreign thing.
I live in uk so just want to check out uk LSE stocks.

I heard metatrader works out support and resistance for you etc.

I am also a newbie, I also have a problem with using MT4, I draw a trendline, but I don't know how to delete it, can anyone tell me how to delete it. Thanks a lot.

Double click on the trendline and 3 small boxes apear on it, then right click on one of the boxes- gives you a list of options including delete.
