I have just started reading up on financial spread betting and technical analysis, and i am currently at the stage where i want to put some of what i have read into practice.
However i would like to practice with a demo account first to make sure i am on the right track, therefore i have a few questions i would like to put to you all.
1. What are the best sites offering demo accounts to practice on.
2. Where can i access real time data for free
3. what are the best sites offering free charts and/or technical analysis tools.
I realise a lot of this information is already out there, but sometimes there is so much choice it gets a bit overwhelming.
I am probably looking at running a demo account for 12 months or so, and then taking the plunge with some real money, depending on how i get on. A couple of books i have read recommend Sharescope, i was wondering if anyone uses this and if so how they find it.
