Hello all, I'm patriotstef... the new guy. Thanks for accepting me.
I have examined EAs for metatrader for a long time now. Guess what? ALL of them fail in the long run. Yes, ALL of them lose.
But I noticed something about each and every one of them - they do well when the market conditions are right. Each EA has a capacity to do well provided that the market is doing what it needs to for that EA to profit. This is, unfortunately, always a temporary situation though.
What I was planning to do (albeit I have no MQ4 programming experience) is this... is there any way an EA can determine market conditions where it can take code that applies each EA for that particular market condition and execute it? In other words, the ICWR phenomenon will occur profittably when certain conditions in the market arise. Can an EA determine that market condition and apply the ICWR protocol to it? And how about the 10.3 EA. Again, can an EA determine the right condition for that one? And so on....
