Winning the Day Trading Game

by Thomas L. Busby

in Books / Trading

A proven approach to short-term trading

Winning the Day Trading Game offers an insider's view of the trading life and provides proven strategies for profitable trading. Professional trader Tom Busby explains how the strategies that made him so much money early on in his career ultimately failed during the 1987 stock market crash and reveals how he reinvented himself into a risk-averse, high-percentage day trader after that fateful year. He interweaves personal experiences with technical explanations to outline the cornerstones of his technique.

In highlighting his own trading experiences, Busby clearly explains how to beat the market by balancing the impulses of greed and fear; learning to manage risk at all times; and taking complete responsibility for your trading.

Not worth it

In a nutshell Mr. Busby's system suggest to keep an eye on the Dax index as a leading indicator for the E-mini S&P and use the opening price for the first day of the year, week, day as a pivot point, as well as as yesterday's hi, low, close. Trade only from 10-11:15, 1:30-2:15 and 3:15-3:45. Thats it. ....Same ol S...t
