Hedge fund riding the crude ? i was wrong to sell the crude oil at $48. My CMC spreadbet account has emptied out because of it. Seems every time i use CMC spreadbet account for any trade it ends up with a huge loss... has anybody experienced something similar ?

Dont Trade Gold with CMC Spreadbet I've been quite unlucky trading gold with cmc. Each time i fund my account with about 1000 pounds and i find a couple of days later that it is all down to zero. I bought gold when there was a bullish signal and price was around $880 and the next thing i know...

ftse is a small market ftse, dax and others are all small markets. reason why i believe ftse is a small market because there seems to be so much more information available about dow and sp500 compared to ftse 100. for example i couldn't find any source that provides ftse 100 intraday volumes...

i have seen advfn.com but i don't think they provide ftse100 realtime volumes or even dow realtime volumes. is it possible for anybody to give a realtime graph capture that proves me wrong ?? come on guys, sharing information doesn't hurt !

hi guys what apparatus to use to see intraday ftse100 volumes, maybe like 10 minute bars. what software to use for ftse100 daytrading? one that can show realtime prices and volumes as well. seems ftse is making a double top and aiming back to 5000

i'm still convinced that economy is in a recession and stocks are overvalued, people are losing jobs and interest rates will keep rising. even after that i can't understand why the stock market keeps rising. its unbelievable... :rolleyes:

going short hasnt been profitable both with ftse and dow :( dow i was short at 10550, ftse at 4720. dow hit its 20 day moving average. ftse broken the 4730 support. with dow i lost 30 points, ftse i gained 3 points as i got out on wednesday morning when i realised the market is holding this...

yeah it did, but i was only looking at a chart of day close prices. not the intraday highs and lows. i haven't got any software so i made a start by copying a chart of a website into paint brush, and then drawing the lines on it. what program are most people using here for this work ?
