I trade futures as well, but don't do this. My main objection to this is the added chart clutter. To me it would seem to get too distracting having all those extra lines on the chart. I do have FreeStockCharts going on another computer that I can glance at quickly if I am worried about a level...

Just took this short on the M6E (Euro micro futures) It was small risk, and I figured if it broke, it would break fast. If it would have stalled for too long near that small triple bottom to the left, I was planning on pulling the plug on it.

Nice one. I was worried about the congestion just below that level from an hour earlier. (the fact my earlier trade stalled there probably affected my decision) But you're right, it did look really nice on the 5min chart too.

Took the same trade, same result. So close, and so frustrating.

Yeah it's quite different compared to the Pro Real time charts. I've noticed that I get more variability in the number of bars printed at different times. During news releases I get way more bars than the Pro Real time charts, and at other times it seems like it's printing half as many.
