i agree with shakone - i found the best way to test out each provider is to open a demo. but beware some only give you a limited amount of time, so try and get one with no expiry !

the gft offer looks good but only if you are putting a sizeable amount as deposit down - anything over £6500 they will match 5% of it up to £60 000! im only a novice so have started with a smaller deposit, but providers like tradefair will match a deposit up to £100, finnspreads £100 credit...

does anyone know of any providers who do not debit for short positions? seems a bit cheeky that you get debited for long and short at the moment!! :mad:
