Not sure if this tax would apply to non-US traders, but the drop in liquidity would sure hurt all daytraders. All of a sudden spread-betting looks like a good deal. But probably the spreads will increase to cover the tax. This tax is definitely not a win-win situation.
Funny how little...
Bit of a rethorical question this. As i've gone live, the inevitable event of a stopout still scares me.
It should wear, i know ;-)
Thing is, i can't decide if i should trade 1 or 2 cars. It's all a matter of moneymanagement of course.
I've tried working it out in a spreadsheet.

Bashir got the Member's Choice Award for most Helpfull member and his thread as fav thread on T2W.
Congrats Bashir, well deserved.
I have it locally somewhere, i'll try and post it somewhere later today, quite big though.
Edit: Can't seem to upload it anywhere for free as it's 211MB, sorry
That makes good sense Lightman, thanks. Mine was not a real formula though, just for Vit to show it should be possible to enter something.
Not using the workbook at the moment, getting my manual skills honed.
I don't have a problem with putting formula there vit, works fine. Do you have the right sheet selected? and the scaling out is same for Buy and sell so should only need one formula.
The pic above is from a dutch broker, not using it just a nice list of the markets with tickprices. But it shows you also the kind of margins that dutch brokers use, just the normal exchange margins. Although Estoxx is not that bad.....
I didn't know that Mirus or Inifinity also offered...
Duh. Not too lazy and traderpedia's my best friend....but still know f.a. about trading*. Thanx.
EDIT: *even though i'm at page 40 of TD's and understand it somewhat.
Seen it used around here a lot, but wtf is a prop firm exactly?
And why would that be your dream job, unless you're a trading junkie and not in it for the money :p
Hey Vit, i don't think the workbook in SC allows for scaling out. It justs sends buy, sell or exit signals on TRUE entries in the K/L/M/N3 columns, afaik....
Interesting B. but i see a few problems on your path to the $101K.
Like the move to Gangsta paradise. Moving to Chicago will keep you busy for a few weeks at least. Then there's the fact that markets are closed this monday :p
If your that bored during the weekends, it might be time for a session...
