    Capital or Income

Although my accountant is a property specialist he did make the following points regarding taxing my trading income: 1) If your only profession is trading and you 'withdraw' money from your trading account the Inland Revenue will look upon this as 'income' and thus tax you under the Income Tax...

Tax treatment of CFD financing charges

Thanks for the input Tuffty, much appreciated. I viewed the information from the Inland revenue shortly after I posted and now realise I can include the 'interest'. Lucky for me as I have incurred nearly £10000 in interest during the last year. Vorpal.

Leasing Properties To Film/TV Production Co.s

Not aware of any sites that contain the information you're after but I can give you 2 examples of people I know who did this: 1) Involved a 3 bedroom flat on an estate. This came about by one of the production team for 'The Bill' knocking on their door. After some quick haggling a price of £600...

Is it really possible to make money in this trading lark?

Please excuse my ignorance but my small mind is unable to grasp the mathematics involved in the above statement. I can see one possible solution to this but I would be amazed if you took this option. You would have to start by risking lesser amounts before laying on a relatively huge (catch...

    Market Manipulation

Surely mentally observing the market from this standpoint will be detrimental to your trading as it will suffocate your thought processes, limiting the amount of positive information you’re able to absorb. On originally reading your posts I got a sense of exasperation on your part that there...

Price, (Volume), Support, Resistance, Demand, Supply . . .

I do agree that a base is where accumulation takes place, followed by Mark-up, then Distribution. I will look at the Bases/Rectangles and S/D stuff over the weekend. Something I regularly do. Thanks for your time. Rgds.

Sorry, I didn't mean there to be a distinction between range and base. In accumulation I look at a base as a congestion area that has formed over some length of time on low volume.

Accumulation takes place in a range, with low volume. A base is an area that forms over some time. Interest in the stock will be significantly less than previously. If I am missing something then I will study your file again in the morning and respond having done so. Rgds.
