Yes I want to test further. All of my other systems I have tested back 20-30 years. However, I am having problems coding this strategy into Pine as it's quite complicated to code. Easy to follow and trade but harder to code. Still trying to debug coding but in the meantime, will paper test

Yep this is true. Certainly immense hours of practise are required. I wouldn't even call it pain-staking. Its actually "rewarding" to find strategies that do not work. This is because it "saves you money" trading blind as it were. I love backtesting and happy to share/discuss the various...

You need to pick your timeframe first of all. This has to fit in with your lifestyle. No point trading 5min if you have a 9-5. Then you have to have a strategy/strategies to trade that timeframe. Its kinda hit and miss. Just an opportunity to chat to other traders I think and sometimes, some of the speeches give a bit of insirpiration and food for thought.
