Marc has just emailed to say there is another change to the parameters of the FMT system. Basically he says ditch the EA and manually trade at 615 - if the indicators say go long... go short. And vice versa. I have every confidence in this adaption now.

I agree. I use IG for all trading, FMT and everything else. Never had a problem, never slipped, etc. I don't know why people are still messing about with these SLM crooks – well I do, because of MT – especially with the tone from the support desk.

Nice one :-) I suppose to be more useful we would need to know %R and the %DD, although I don't know how you'd go about that! A straight %DD will still be interesting though.

Thanks PipZombie. Yeah I know how to work it out, it's just Mark isn't doing this at all with his results. His risk per trade doesn't change for 2 years, doesn't factor in the account growing. His stake at Jan 09 is $10 per pip, which means a risk of $400 per trade = a starting account of $20k...

Is it me or is this FMT results table wrong? http://www.forexmorningtrade.com/results/ Mark mentions 2% risk of account for the cumulative figures but it seems the risk is $10 per pip from start to finish. Or am I missing something? Cheers

Using the charts from MT and entering manually, it was a long trade. So how can the EA say NT?

Using IG advanced charts, the indicators don't match MT. So this morning MT was a trade (just), but IG was a NT. Anyone any ideas why they are so different?

Hi fuzzywun, do you use IG? I do but the indicators used for FMT show different readings to MetaTrader, any idea why? One is similar but one is way out sometimes.
