I don't use any at present as have access to bloomberg/reuters at work. ADVFN ! I helped float that stock, not bad for a free site and have used the Level 2.
What software would you recomend?
Thanks for your help
Am using the 9 day MA as one of my analysis tools at present, does anyone know of a website where i can get historical data on this as at the moment am having to work out via a series of spreadsheets for all the markets and stocks I follow.
Thanks

I agree with some of the comments above, when starting with such a small amount it really does put the pressure on.
As the saying goes 'money goes to money' although equally 'a fool and his money are easily parted'
I was merely suggesting finspreads as a learning tool with the 1p a point limit...
wih i had seen this earlier, sold out today at $348 missing the move up to 354. mind u have had a good run on this up from 307 ! just trading in small amounts.........might just have another go !
If new to trading, there is no reason why you shouldn't start in small size. $500 is enough to get going providing you use stop losses and limit orders particularly if you are doing other things throughout the day. I do exactly this and started off with similar capital.
In the evening you will...
Not bad, you should consider a program that is as easy to use but for the 6 or 9 day moving average as per the champion trader method. at the moment am using exel spreadsheet for these calculations
Finspreads
Have only just got round to seeing if this site was up and running ! From most of the posts etc so far it looks like an excellent tool with like minded people helping each other.
I currently use Finspreads but only in a smallish fashion looking really for the longer term trades...
