You can backtest when you're offline, however you cannot download data if you are offline. Therefore, you have to have the data you want stored in your cache before you can backtest offline.

looks like a bug in the software you are using. If done properly, a monte carlo analysis will always produce a normal distribution. Perhaps you should look into bootstrapping.

Looks good but I spoke to pats directly and they said another 60 days before the product is available. I was hoping to find something in the mean time.
