Exactly Pvisser, everyones tech knowledge is different. Finally got mine set up but needed help/advice from someone more tech knowledgable to get it into Metatrader. Still a bit of a strugle to get good backtest results even though settings at default with recommender broker. So it aint that easy.

Just sharing results like others.

Not having good results with backtests with broker they recommend,Forex Meta. From Jan 1st $13 down on $10000 demo!

maybe it does to update the charts, but I beleive the actual trade generating programme is with the concept fx HQ servers. I think it wae Jeran who told me this.

Not sure that you actually download the data but simply download the trades generated by thier server. If I am wrong please let me know.

Thanks, yes they now replied and all OK. Just got to get settings right. Ran backtest and made $189 on $10000 bank since 1st March 2009. Room for improvement.

Set MD up but getting error 2 message on chart and receipt no is not showing on imputs. Asked support but no reply, Any ideas anyone?

Looks like a misunderstanding Stu and your backtests are useful and welcome. Had email from megadroid support saying to use Forex Meta for backtests. They acknowledge that useing others can give bad results due to differences like daylight saving etc.

It does make you wonder especially with the hindsight trading reference. On the other hand I beleive ODL securities banned its usesaying it was virtually stealing.

yes, they offer training sessions for $10. Thats the bit that puzzles me. I want the droid to achieve the asdvertised results but without knowing the settings that got those results mine will differ, like yours and Douglas.
