This is my first post out of the Newbie arena, as now, cash is on the line... :clap: I've been trading for about 6 months now and I'm starting to get a handle on the Forex Market pretty well, with some consistent wins. I need some help in my futures trading however... :lol: I started on YM...

I'm spending more and more time out at my lake house these days. That's the good news.. The bad news is, I can't trade out there!! Has anyone had any experience with alternate methods of data link? Say, a Hughs Net or Sky Blue satellite link. I think the wireless route is not feasible...

Would someone explain a little more about cut-off times? I'm a little confused... I've been confused a lot lately... Every since I've been studying Day Trading!! ha!!

Damn... I hope that didn't come off as being cocky!! I'm certainly not... :o It's just a market that is easy to get started in without losing a lot of $$$$... Now... Making a living out of it appears to be a whole different game!! :)

Oh, go for it... With the advent of micro accounts, there is no reason not to learn on real cash... just stay by your rig and protect your account. Your mind set is completely different and you truly learn when you loose a few bucks.. I stayed on demo just long enough to learn the software...

Thanks, Rhody! Is your weather finally clearing up? It looked like a mess for a while... Is it worth while spending time on one pair, say usd/jpy ,to try and find some patterns, or should I just look around until I find some good volatility... Thank you for watching over us rookies!! :D

I'm Starting to dabble in a little Forex trading after market hours here in the USA when the Futures markets shut down. What would be a good pair to study and trade from, say, 6pm to 6am, CST? TIA

Anyone found a good template for a Log or Journal for a newbie?? :) I see the Journal area on this site, but I'm not sure that's what I need ... I'm torn between a journal I would physically write in versus some type of Accel doc. Any Ideas?? Clueless as usual... ;)
